Nashik, March 14, 2026:In a landmark move to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, K. K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education & Research (KKWIEER), Nashik, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prosper Worldwide to establish a state-of-the-art Center of Excellence (CoE) on its campus.


This strategic partnership aims to create a future-ready ecosystem that integrates technical education with real-world industry requirements, positioning students for enhanced employability, innovation, and entrepreneurship.


Establishing a Future-Ready Engineering Ecosystem

The collaboration will lead to the development of the Prosper Worldwide Center of Excellence (PWW CoE), designed as a hub for advanced learning, hands-on training, and innovation-driven activities.

The CoE will focus on:

  • Industry-oriented skill development programs

  • Innovation and research initiatives

  • Product development and engineering solutions

  • Entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem development

  • Bridging the gap between academic curriculum and industry needs


Strengthening Industry-Academia Collaboration

Under this MoU, KKWIEER will provide the necessary infrastructure and academic integration, while Prosper Worldwide will bring industry expertise, mentorship, and strategic guidance.

Key initiatives include:

  • Technical workshops and expert-led guest lectures

  • Industry exposure and training programs

  • Curriculum enhancement aligned with industry standards

  • Establishment of advanced laboratories and technical infrastructure

This collaborative model ensures that students gain practical exposure alongside theoretical knowledge.

The MoU is valid for a period of five years, with provisions for renewal based on mutual agreement. A structured monitoring and reporting mechanism will ensure measurable outcomes, including student training, innovation projects, and ecosystem development.

The agreement also outlines clear frameworks for intellectual property management, confidentiality, and collaboration governance, ensuring long-term sustainability and transparency.


The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Keshav N. Nandurkar, Director, KKWIEER, and Mr. Anant Waghchoure, Head – Business Operations, Prosper Worldwide, marking the beginning of a transformative partnership.
